Dennis Grear, Sr.

Dennis Grear, Sr., age 76, of Milbank, SD, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at St. Williams Care Center.

No services will be held. His cremated remains will be spread with his wife’s cremated remains at a later date during a private ceremony.

Dennis Robert Grear, Sr. was born on September 11, 1945, in Buffalo, NY, to Robert and Louise (Mielke) Grear. He was a loving brother and father.

Dennis spent his life truck driving and loved to be on the road to support his family. Dennis was a jokester who liked to get a rise out of you and make you smile. He enjoyed good natured teasing with his brother-in-law, Michael.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Yvonne (Michael) Krepinevich of Pittsburgh, PA, who was blessed to have him as a brother; daughter, Carla Fransaw of Yucca Valley, CA; son, Dennis, Jr. (Kandi) Grear of Waco, TX; and multiple grandchildren who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Grear, who he was married to for 46 years.

Dennis’s family would like to thank the staff at Park Place and St. Williams for the love, care, and support that was shown throughout his stay.
