The 30th Annual South Dakota North Area Honor Band will present their concert on Saturday, December 4.  The event will be held at the Johnson Fine Arts Center on the campus of Northern State University in Aberdeen. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students in grades 1-12.  

Dr. Rolf Olson, who is the director of bands, professor of trumpet, and chair of the NSU Music Department will serve as the director. Approximately 100 students from over 20 schools will participate. Schools include:  Aberdeen Central, Aberdeen Christian, Aberdeen Roncalli, Clark, Eureka, Gettysburg, Great Plains Lutheran, Groton Area, Herried, Hoven, Howard, Huron, Ipswich, Langford, Leola, Milbank, Northwestern, Selby Area, Sully Buttes, Summit, Warner, and Wilmot.

MHS students will be accompanied to Aberdeen by Susan Karels, band instructor for grades 6-12, and Deb Rausch who serves as a lesson instructor.
