In Novice Public Forum, Rylen Frerichs and Max Schuelke placed second out of nine teams with a 3-1 record. MHS debate coach, Kathy Tyler, said, ” Kudos to Rylen! He earned a perfect score of 30 speaker points. That’s an achievement not seen by many.” Shane Spiering and Qualon Grant finished with a 2-2 record.

What’s up next for the Bulldogs? The MHS debaters travel to Sioux Falls Lincoln High School on Friday and Saturday, January 14 and 15.
“After that,” Coach Tyler says,”a new resolution concerning Turkey and NATO will be debated for the remainder of the year. The debaters will be talking turkey!”
