MALST Wins Six Third-Place Awards in Watertown

Six members of the Milbank Area Lions Swim Team (MALST) attended the 2022 Optimist High Point Meet in Watertown on January 15-16. It was the first meet of their winter season. All MALST swimmers cracked the top-six list in at least one event. They also collected six third-place awards.
TyLynn Wellnitz and Ryan Steffen each qualified for State in the 50-meter and 100-meter backstroke events. Timbree Spors qualified in the 100-meter breaststroke and 200-meter freestyle competition.
