Come see the king’s new clothes — or lack of them — this Friday, February 11, at The Missoula Children’s Theatre’s two performances of The Emperor’s New Clothes. The beloved fairy tale is as funny, thought-provoking, and relevant today as it was in 1837 when Hans Christian Anderson penned it.
Auditions were held on Monday, February 7. Although 89 local children were interested in obtaining a part, only about 60 parts were available. The actors chosen have been practicing all week to prepare for the opening curtain on Friday.
There is no admission. Everyone is invited to catch the matinee at 1:15 p.m. or the evening show at 7 p.m. in the Milbank High School theater.
