American Legion Baseball Players Meeting Set for March 10

Are you a baseball player age 16 -18? Interested in American Legion Baseball? An organizational meeting for players and their parents will be held at the Milbank Visitor Center on Thursday, March 10, at 6 p.m.

Milbank was the birthplace of American Legion Baseball in 1925. Today, it is one of the most successful amateur athletic leagues in the nation with teams in all 50 states and Canada. The league has had millions of players. Many go on to play college and professional baseball and over 80 American Legion players have been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
