Terry Christensen

Terry Christensen, age 74, of Milbank, SD, passed away on March 8, 2022, in Sioux Falls, SD.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home. Pastor Daniel Lopez will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A time of fellowship and a meal will be held following the service at the Super 8 Community Room.

Terry Rae (Cink) Christensen was born on February 16, 1948, in Valley City, ND. She was the daughter of Fred Jay Cink, Sr. and Hulda Adella (Schaffer) Cink.

Terry grew up in Valley City and graduated high school. She was united in marriage with John Louis Christensen on February 28, 1969. They were blessed with three children: Jim, Tonya, and Trina. They lived in Ray, ND; and Terry eventually moved to Milbank. Terry was a loving mother who cared for her children and volunteered at the Milbank Thrift Store. She enjoyed reading, making puzzles, and yard work. She was rarely seen without a Coke in her hand. She especially loved spending time with her family and helping others.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jim Christensen of Watertown, SD; Tonya (Doug) Rodengen of Watertown, SD; and Trina Augustus of Watertown, MN; siblings: Connie Laite of Fargo, ND; Cathie (Roland) Galer of Molalla, OR; Maloye (Mike) Lesmeister of Fargo, ND; Jay Cink of Valley City, ND; Kerry (Jim) Fenstad of Fargo, ND; and Fred Cink, Jr. of Greenland, AZ; grandchildren: Michael Rodengen of Watertown, SD; LaTia (Alex) Jackson of Watertown, SD; Emilie (Jake) Zmolek of Watertown, SD; Aspen (Rusty) Madsen of Milbank, SD; Tori Remington of Wilmington, DE; Harley Hopkins of Watertown, MN; Maercedes Christensen of Watertown, SD; Lexus Christensen of Watertown, SD; and Alex Christensen of Watertown, SD; great-grandchildren: Hailee, Jacobie, Bella, Freya, Raider, Raxten, Lynlee, Sylvia, and Frankie.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Hulda Cink; and her ex-husband, John Christensen.
