Gardening – March 15 and March 29 Can’t wait to get back to digging in your garden, but there’s still snow in your backyard? The Grant County Public Library offers you a chance to play in the dirt now with its seed starter planting sessions. Start your plants indoors and be ready to transplant them when spring finally arrives.
Attend a free seed planting session on March 15 at 2 p.m. or March 29 at 5:30 p.m. Pick from a variety of heirloom seeds from the Seed Library. Seed-starting soil and peat pots are provided. Door prizes will also be awarded. No registration is required.
Need extra help? The library has a wide selection of books on gardening and seed saving. The Seed Library also has gardening tools available for check out.
Reading Adventures for Kids – March 16 and April 20 Kids up to age six are invited to attend Reading Adventures on March 16 and April 20. Both sessions begin at 10 a.m. The program is free and no registration is required.
Family Bingo – March 17 On March 17, head to the library for Family Bingo. The games start at 1 p.m. and are hosted by the Friends of the Library. The program is free and no registration is required.
