Milbank’s head wrestling coach, Jeremy Tostenson, along with assistant coaches Jesse Krause and Josh Schmeichel, presented end-of-the-season awards at the 2022 Wrestling Award Ceremony on March 15. 

Barrett Schneck was selected as the Most Valuable Wrestler, and Leyton Raffety was chosen as the Most Valuable Teammate. The Rookie of the Year award went to Owen Fischer. Barrett Schneck and Jesse Schneck each clinched a Pinner Award with 17 falls apiece. 

The Most Improved Wrestler was Maddox Hanson. Oliver Korth was selected as The Most Valuable Wrestler on the JV team. Landon Novy and Jesse Schneck each earned a  Perfect Attendance Award for practice. 
Kaden Krause received the Justin Maass Spirit Award for his contributions to the team on and off the mat. The Justin Maass Spirit Award is given in honor of Bulldog Justin Maass, who passed away in 2002 at the age of 15.

Kaden Krause and Leyton Raffety were recognized for being named to the 2022 Academic All-State Team. The South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association presents the award to athletes who maintain a 3.5 GPA or better.

Bulldogs who received a Major M this season include: Seniors – Kaden Krause, Maddox Hanson, and Leyton Raffety; Juniors – Barrett Schneck, Anthony St. Martin, and Paul VanDover; Sophomores- Jaden Johnson, Jacob Johnson, and Landon Novy; and Freshmen – Owen Fischer, Joe French, Jayce Jonason, Oliver Korth, Reese Rabe, Tate Schlueter, Jesse Schneck, Nollen Sheeley, and Carter Gloe. Managers-Hallie Schulte and Addisyn Krause.
The coaches thanked the Wrestling Booster Club, Ron Krause, Wade VanDover, and the parents and fans.
