Logan Diede, organizer of the 2022 MHS Alumni Basketball Tournament and the head coach of the Milbank Bulldogs, announced the winners of the games held at the Milbank Armory on Saturday, April 16. Diede started the tourney in 2019, took a year off in 2020, and started it up again last year. This year, the event also included concessions with proceeds going to the Bulldog Booster Club.

Diede said, “It’s always so great to have everyone back home and in the gym again. It was another successful event. We had 37 men’s participants, which was up three from last year. We also added a women’s game with 18 women on the roster, even though we did it on very, short notice. I look forward to getting all of the players back next year and more in the years to come. We would love to get enough for a women’s tournament!”

To the Booster Club. To our officials Adam Cummins, Jared Engebretson, and Ryan Scoular. To all our current players that helped throughout the day by keeping stats and running the clock.”

Also thank you to all that were gracious in donating to the program through the free will donation. We are fortunate to live in such a giving community like Milbank!”
