Whetstone Valley Strings presented their spring recital on Sunday, April 24, at Living Word Lutheran Church. Students performed solos, which were followed by three orchestra selections. The student musicians were accompanied by Miriam Schwenn on piano. Elizabeth Schulte serves as their instructor.
Students were recognized for their achievements this semester. Kelsey Wipf, Leticia Stahl, and Alanna Vogel reached Twinkle Graduation. Carrie Wipf, Sabine Hicks, and Stella Pulling completed the Halfbook 1 Review. Teaneashea Vogel and Annette Tschetter reached Book 1 Graduation. Krista Gingerich and Joseph and Traci Tschetter each achieved Book 2 Graduation. Unable to attend the recital were violinists Nicholas and Veronica Fonder and Jewel Waldner.
