“For starters, what a treat for the girls to play Moccasin Creek, one of the top golf courses in the state,” said Mark Keeton, head coach of the Lady Bulldogs’ golf team. Moccasin Creek Golf Course is in Aberdeen, where the girls faced Roncalli on May 5.Coach Keeton said, “Marion Mischel led the team by finishing in third place with a solid 95. Shaylee Schuchard played a strong back nine which propelled her to a tie for 11th-place.” Milbank recorded a 461 to take fourth place as a team.
Individual scores included: Mischel at 95 for third place and Schuchard’s tie for 11th place at 111. Camila Monroy shot a 127, Ella Kasuske was right behind her at 128, and just two strokes ahead of Jaclyn Wiik at 130. “As a team we need to work on avoiding the big numbers that hurt the scorecard. Much of this is due to the spring we have had, and lack of quality practice time outside,” Coach Keeton added.
