It’s time to register kids age five through fifth grade for the 2022 Summer Reading program. Summer reading is free and scheduled for Wednesday afternoons from June 8 through July 20. Registration is required by June 1. 
The theme is an Ocean of Possibilities. Children will participate in ocean-related activities and earn prizes by reading at home and reporting their weekly reading time. Weekly prizes will also be awarded based on attendance. 

A sneak peek at some of the Summer Reading activities: Wednesday, July 13, – Learning about the animals the Bramble Park Zoo brings in.

Wednesday, July 20 – Awards and prizes will be presented. The Big Stone City Horizon’s Group will serve root beer floats.

The  Big Stone City Branch Library is located in the Big Stone City Community Center at 400 Washington Street in Big Stone City.  Access is through the south door. Library hours are Wednesdays from 1-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
