The First Annual Post 9 Pancake Feed will be held at the Milbank Fire Hall on Sunday, June 26, from 9 a.m. until noon. A free will offering is requested.
Proceeds from the pancake feed will go to activities supported by Milbank Legion Birch-Miller Post 9, American Legion Auxiliary Birch-Miller Post 9, and Sons of the American Legion Squadron 9 of Birch-Miller Post 9.
Some of the activities they contribute to include: American Legion Baseball, Boys State, Girls State, Boy Scouts, Americanism in the Schools, oratory contest, scholarships, American Citizenship student awards, Youth Trooper, honor and color guards and firing squads to honor veterans, poppy sales to support veterans activities locally and statewide, and Memorial Day and Veterans Day programs.
