Jamie Henderson of the Milbank Area Chamber said, “It was an outstanding Farley Fest weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! The parade included over 30 entries. There were 42 Art in the Park and 10 food vendors, and 1050 tickets were sold to the concert held on Saturday night.”
Q-Fest winners included: Grand Champion: Red Ring BBQPeople’s Choice Award: Red Ring BBQPork Butt: First Place – Fernando’s Rib Company, Second Place – Red Ring BBQ, Third Place – Smokin A’s BBQPork Spare Ribs: First Place Red Ring BBQ, Second Place-Fernando’s Rib Company, Third Place – Send It BBQBeef Brisket: First Place – Red Ring BBQ, Second Place -Send It BBQ, Third Place -Fernando’s Rib Company
Cornhole Tournament pitted 19 teams against each other in double-elimination action. Winners were: First Place – Landon and Sheri LaFromboise, Sisseton – They won $270. Second Place – Chuck and Marcie Kostboth, Sisseton – They won $160. Third Place – Matt Wellnitz and Ryan Scoular, Milbank – They won $70. Fourth Place – Clint Homan and Dustin Johnson, LaBolt – They won $70.
Car Show winners included: People’s Choice Award: Jamie Pekelder, Milbank
1st Place Car: Richard Jasken, Hutchinson, Minnesota
1st Place Truck: Jim Steiger, Watertown
1st Place Race Vehicle: Jason Tiesing, Milbank
