The Bulldog Booster Club held an open fundraiser with 100 golfers playing 18 holes at Whetstone Creek Golf Course north of Milbank on Saturday, July 30. Zach Angerhofer drove off with the raffle prize — a new golf cart.
The four-member team of Jeremy Johnson, Bob Schatz, Ryan Easthouse, and Cole Kirchberg took first place.
The second place team included Mark Keeton, Logan Diede, Vance McInerney, and Casey Erickson.
Third place ended in a tie. The team of Jerry Jungers, Phil Seehafer, Sean Zimmy, and Dustin Walraven (not pictured) and the team of Jackie Sipe, Allison Snyder, Blaine Snyder, and Brandon Sipe shared the honor.
All proceeds benefit the Bulldog Booster Club. The Bulldog Booster Club focuses on cultivating school spirit and developing multidisciplinary skills, good sportsmanship, character, and high ideals in Milbank students. Capital projects to improve facilities and equipment are also a peripheral goal.
Kathleen Holscher, coordinator of the event and one of the directors of the booster club, says, “We hope to make this an annual event. “
