Peggy spent most of her years in Clinton, MN, Peggy also lived in Missoula, MT and Watertown, SD for some of her adult life. The last couple of years, Peggy lived in Ireton, IA with her daughter, Nancy by her side.

Peggy graduated from Clinton High School with the class of 1963. She shared many fond memories with her classmates and enjoyed many of her class reunions.

Peggy had a variety of occupations throughout her lifetime. She worked at Milbank Mutual, Peterson Grocery, Arrow Drug and Glady’s Department Store in Clinton. However, her true talent and compassion was being the original “Jill of All Trades.” Peggy mastered most all things she tried, including furniture upholstery. Along with her many talents, Peggy was raising her only child, Nancy.

Peggy was the glue that kept everything and everyone together. From helping her mom and dad on the farm, to decorating and remodeling her home. She used to tell her family if they came home in the dark, they needed to turn on the light or they may just run into a ‘new’ wall……literally.

Peggy had many hobbies – hunting (shot her own moose in Montana), fishing, camping, canning, cooking and spending time in her amazing flower and vegetable gardens.

Her most cherished memories were spending time with Nancy, Cody and Dustin. She was the ultimate Grandma! Peggy also had two beautiful great grandchildren, Reagan and most recently little baby Casper. Reagan was/is her twin to go forward in her life.

Left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her daughter, Nancy Ringsaker (Todd Westra)  of Ireton, IA; grandsons, Cody (Amber) and Dustin (Kelsey) of Chokio, MN; former spouse and close friend, Larry Nelson; sister Dorothy Foss of Watertown, SD; brothers, Bob Hanson (Kate) of Missoula, MT, Leonard (Charlotte) of Morris, MN and close lifelong friend, Janet Spalinger of Clinton, MN. She is also survived by many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law, Tom McCallum, Merle Foss and Dr. Arnold Jostock; mother-in-law, Gladys Howen; fathers-in-law, Eldon Nelson; and Marvin Howen and nephews Casey Sandberg and Troy McCallum as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
