Before the Lady Bulldogs could give their undivided attention to the state tournament, they closed out their regular season with two matches at Cantine Courts on Tuesday, September 20. They hosted Aberdeen Roncalli and Aberdeen Central. 

Milbank–4 vs. Roncalli–5In singles play, Milbank tied Roncalli 3-3, but the Lady Cavaliers slipped by with an extra win in doubles, and MHS lost a close one with a score of 4-5.  At No. 1, junior Hope Karels defeated Katherine Kretchman 10-4. Amelia Pederson, a junior at No. 3, posted another win at 10-5. Freshman Ashlynn Lamp locked in the third victory at 10-2.

MIlbank–0 vs. Aberdeen Central–9 The Lady Bulldogs had a rough day against Aberdeen Central and were defeated 9-0. Ashlynn Lamp put up a fight against Livia Douglas, but took the loss at 10-4. Hope Karels, at No. 1, and Jenna Korstjens, at No. 5, rallied, but in the end, each went down at 10-3.
