The annual Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Food Drive looks a little different this year.  Boy Scouts will not be canvasing door-to-door to pick up food.  Instead, the Boy Scouts are doing what they do best — putting up tents.

In Milbank, one tent was erected at Berens’ Warehouse Groceries on East Highway 12, and one was put up at Lewis Drug at the Milbank Mall. According to Jeff Loutsch of Boy Scout Troop 45donations will be accepted at the tents through Saturday, October 29. All non-perishable grocery items are welcome, including those used for personal hygiene.

The Scouts were handing out fliers at the tents on Saturday, October 22, to remind and encourage the community to participate. The Boys Scouts also will be manning the tents this Saturday, October 29. That is the last day food can be donated. The collected items will then be delivered to the Grant County Food Pantry.
Boy Scout Troop 45 of Milbank is supported in part by the Grant County Combined Appeal.
