The MHS oral interp team competed in the Golden Eagle Cup in Aberdeen on Friday, November 4. Lady Bulldog Keira Steffen placed fourth.
Steffen’s finish was quite an accomplishment, according to Natasha Karels, coach for the Bulldogs. “The Golden Eagle Cup is the largest tournament we have competed in so far this season. The students competed against AA, A, and B schools with the novice and varsity competing against each other in mixed rounds.”
What’s next for the Milbank team? The Bulldogs travel to their last regular season tournament at Washington High School in Sioux Falls on Friday, November 11. The regional meet follows on Tuesday, November 15, in Aberdeen.
