The Lady Bulldogs’ tennis team wrapped up their season with an awards banquet on Tuesday, November 8. Ashlynn Lamp, Caitlyn Frerichs, and Jenna Korstjens each earned their first major “M”. Bri Hicks and Izzy Glomstad, both new to tennis this year, were each presented with their first minor “M”.
For the 2022 season, the tennis coaches chose Jenna Korjstens for the Bulldog Fighting Through Adversity Award. Coach Abby Trapp commented, “Jenna fought for every point in every match and always put forth her best effort. She was one of the top players with the most wins in the season. In addition, she is coachable and a joy to be around.”
The Teammate Award, voted on by only the players, was shared by Hope Karels and Elsie Seffrood. Seffrood also received a senior plaque and an All-State Academic Award.
