Kellie Thielke

Kellie Thielke, age 59, of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

A memorial service for local friends and family of Kellie will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home Chapel in Ortonville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Tonn will officiate the service, and refreshments will be served after the service.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. The service will be followed by a luncheon at the church.

Kellie Ann Thielke was born on February 26, 1963, in Ortonville, MN, to Richard and Sharon (Haugen) Thielke. She attended grade school and high school in Fargo, ND. Kellie moved to Brooklyn Park, MN, in the late 1980s and lived there until moving to Ortonville in 2019.

Kellie worked as a finance manager at car dealerships in Minnesota and in South Dakota. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music, especially 80s, 90s, country, and rock. Kellie also enjoyed playing cards and doing puzzles. She had such a big heart and a love for animals particularly dogs. Kellie always had a dog by her side and each one had a special place in her heart: Sadie, Abbie, Lucy, and most recently, Zeke.

Kellie is survived by her mother, Sharon Thielke of Hackensack, MN; sister, Lori (Bruce) Whitmore of Maple Grove, MN; nieces: Madelyn Anderson (CJ Johnson) of Brooklyn Park, MN; and Hannah (Kyle) Klein of Maple Grove, MN; great-nephews: Odin and Logan Klein; along with good friends: Dawn Erickson, Eileen Andrews, Patrick O’Connor, Kevin Anderson, and many more.

Preceding her in death are her father, Richard Thielke; and good friends: Brenda, Becky, and Julie.
