Sally Ann Rondeau was born on a stormy, early morning to Mark and Cheryl Rondeau at the Indian Health Service Hospital in Sisseton, SD, on February 5, 1981. She became the step-daughter of Scott Basset when her mom remarried in 1994.

She grew up in Wilmot, SD, and attended Wilmot Public School. She obtained a GED and attended classes at Sisseton Wahpeton Community College. Sally was baptized and confirmed in the Wilmot Lutheran Church in Wilmot.

Sally lived in Wilmot for a short time and moved to the Twin Cities of Minnesota where she lived in several places, including Maple Grove and most recently Otsego. At a young age, Sally worked in restaurants. She was employed in sales during her life, most recently as an agent for Family Heritage Insurance.

On January 15, 2001, Sally and Andy Huff welcomed the love of her life into the world, a son, Dylan George Huff. Sally loved life, loved people, and loved her family, especially Dylan who was the pride and complete joy of her life. She was over the top proud of him and could never stop talking about her best achievement in life, her son.

She was a very talented woman who could take unusual pieces of “stuff” and create the most beautiful interior designs for her home. Although a great cook, she was generally asked to bring the dessert to family get-togethers because she was always late, which gave everyone time to relax after a full meal before the dessert course.

She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son, Dylan Huff (Macy Gilmore) of Grand Forks, ND; mother, Cheryl Rondeau-Basset, and step-father, Scott Bassett of Wilmot, SD; brothers: Chris Rondeau of Savage, MN; Sam Rondeau of Shakopee, MN; Dan (Tausha) Rondeau of Sandy, UT; Pat Rondeau (fiancé Susan Worwa) of Bandera, TX; half sister, Stephanie Rondeau of Texas; nephews: Jevon (Sydney) Rondeau of Layton, UT; Jacob Rondeau of St. Paul, MN; Mason Rondeau of Shakopee, MN; Qwade Rondeau of Sandy, UT; nieces: Kiley (Alex) Meyhoefer of Prior Lakes, MN; Jessica Rondeau of New Franken, WI; Jada Rondeau of Savage, MN; and Paizley Rondeau of Sandy, UT; great-nephew, Dawson Rondeau and great-niece, Ava Rondeau both of Layton, UT; grandmother, Martha Evelyn Quade of Milbank, SD; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Rondeau; father, Mark Rondeau; paternal grandparents: Alta and Andrew Rondeau; maternal grandfather, Walter Quade; step-grandparents: Donn and Shirley Bassett; and uncles: Paul Rondeau, and Michael Rondeau.
