Milbank’s high school and middle school bands and choirs present their annual Christmas concerts December 11-12. Both groups perform in the Milbank High School Theater.
December 11 Attend the high school presentation on Sunday, December 11. The concert starts at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Activity passes will be accepted. The program includes seasonal melodies, familiar carols, and original tunes. Instrumental features and soloists will be highlighted. The musicians are under the direction of Susan Karels, Miriam Schwenn, and Kristi Seehafer. Mrs. Schwenn notes, “A reminder to our music families to bring one dozen cookies or bars to the school between 1-2 p.m. before the concert.
December 12 The sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade groups share their music on Monday, December 12. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
The middle school ensembles, also conducted by Karels and Schwenn, will feature each grade level performing a variety of holiday favorites.
