Holiday cheer, fellowship, and turkey dinner with all the trimmings are on the menu at the 20th Annual Free Christmas Day Dinner. The dinner will be served on Sunday, December 25, at Parkview United Methodist Church in Milbank.
All are welcome, and No reservations are required. Parkview United Methodist Church is located next to Avantara at 1101 South 2nd Street in Milbank. This year Thrivent is supplementing funds. Dinner service begins at 11:30 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m.
The traditional Christmas meal includes turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, corn, and homemade bread. The celebration also includes a birthday cake for Jesus. The Tobin-Ward family sponsors the dinner in memory of Charles and Harryette Tobin.
