Tired of all your puzzles? Here’s the solution: the Big Stone City Branch Library starts its annual puzzle swap on January 7. The puzzle swap is designed for adults and will continue through March.

While you’re there, why not register for the adult reading program? The annual reading program starts on Wednesday, January 18, and concludes at the end of February. Register and receive a notebook to keep a record of your books. Each week you return a book you’ve read, you will be entered in the weekly prize drawing.

Additional prizes will be given out at the end of the program to readers who have completed more than 20 books within the six-week time span.
Janelle Kelly, branch manager of the library, says, “Winter is a perfect time to read books. Please support your local library.”

The Big Stone City library is one of the three branches of the Grant County Library system. Find it in the Big Stone City Community Center at 400 Washington Street. Hours are Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
