Maurina Street knocked in 16 points and pulled down four rebounds in the girls basketball game on December 29, but it wasn’t enough to fend off the Lady Falcons of Florence-Henry. Milbank took the loss at 39-50 on their home court.

Isabella Anderson added seven points for the Lady Bulldogs. Josie Riveland had five, and Claire Snaza contributed four. Siera Wenzl and Tyra Berry each put in three. Snaza also grabbed four rebounds and Anderson nabbed three.

Milbank shot nearly 42 percent from the field, including 67 percent in the three-point range in the first half. Florence-Henry denied the Lady Bulldogs a single opportunity at the charity stripe.

Altogether, Lady Falcons Trinity and Taylor Watson racked up 34 points. Trinity pumped in 24 and Taylor had 10. Florence-Henry shot 45 percent from the field. They were 50 percent from beyond the arc, and hit 46 percent from the free-throw line.
