Henderson Hired as Head of Milbank Chamber

Jamie Henderson has been named as the executive director of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC). The MACC board of directors made the announcement today, effective immediately.  Henderson has worked at the MACC since December 2021 and as its interim executive director since August 2022. 

Henderson holds a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead (Moorhead, Minnesota) in graphic communications and a master’s degree from Bradley University (Peoria, Illinois) in human service administration. She is a graduate of Ortonville High School and previously worked in marketing and graphic design.
 

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Milbank Area Chamber, which has a vital role in supporting area businesses and organizations,” Henderson says of her new position. “I look forward to developing relationships with our members, advocating for our businesses, and promoting the community.” 

Dwight Samson, president of the MACC board, says, “We are very fortunate to have Jamie in this position and look forward to working with her as she uses her knowledge and experience to the benefit of the Milbank Area Chamber.” 

The MACC has a membership of approximately 175 businesses and organizations. Its mission is: to promote favorable economic growth and vitality for our membership and business community by marketing the region to new individuals, as well as businesses, and producing economic impact from tourism.
