Bulldogs Clip the Pheasants 44-26

The Bulldog wrestlers clipped the Redfield Pheasants 44-26 on Thursday, February 9, during MHS senior night, at the Milbank Armory. Evan Folk, Zack Karges, Jacob Johnson, and Brayden Christensen won by fall to earn six points apiece for Milbank. Barrett Schneck  and Owen Fischer defeated their opponents by a major decision to add four points each. Reese Rabe and Lane Johnson put up wins by forfeit to claim six points apiece for the Bulldogs.

Josh Schmeichel, head coach for MHS, said, “It was exciting to beat Redfield in a dual because they have always been a tough team. I thought this one was going to be closer, but they had a few injuries that prevented them from wrestling their normal lineup. Overall, I think everyone went out and wrestled very well.”
