The 32nd Annual Piano Festival was held on Sunday, February 26 in the Milbank High School theater. The festival featured Shawn Stemsrud and student musicians Kami Dashiell, Priya Zemlicka, Maddie Dashiell, Dezirae Stahl, Hadassah Kauffman, Isabelle Karels, Leticia Stahl, Savannah Berg, Natalie Thaden, Macy Mueller, Lydia Gall, and Addie Farrell.
Stemsrud, a graduate of MHS and SDSU, is currently the music director for the Prairie Repertory Theater, the director of music ministry at Faith Reformed Church, and the head vocal music director at Mickelson Middle School in Brookings. He performed two pieces.
