Lorna was born on December 8, 1951, in Madison, MN, to Raymond and Martha Koepp of Marietta, MN. She was raised on the family farm, where daily chores aided her lifelong hatred for birds, which her family often tormented her about. After graduating from Marietta High School in 1969, Lorna went on to study as a dental assistant at Canby Technical College. Following graduation, Lorna worked at the Madison Dental office for over ten years performing bookkeeping and administrative tasks. She gained experience and lifelong friends while there. She was a stay-at-home mom and ran a daycare, later in life.

Lorna met James (Pedro) Brehmer at a local Legion dance. After dating for a couple of years, they joyfully wed on Saturday, January 8, 1983, and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Together they had three wonderful children. Throughout her life, Lorna demonstrated unwavering love and support for her family. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and wisdom were a source of strength and inspiration. She was the epitome of selflessness and always put her family first.

When Lorna was younger, she enjoyed bowling league with her friends and fishing from the dock, especially during her summer lake vacation. She was an avid seamstress creating her own clothing and sharing her many sewing talents by making gifts for her friends and family. She was a gardener and enjoyed beautiful flowers and plants. She also enjoyed riding the lawn mower around her large yard.

She found joy in collecting, which started in her younger years while selling Avon. Her large collection of Avon bottles then led to collections of many kinds, including antiques, Beanie Babies, salt and pepper shakers, cookbooks, and much more. Her Saturday mornings were often spent at rummage sales and auctions.

Her home was always filled with the aroma of fresh baked goods and delicious homemade meals. She loved hosting family, keeping food plentiful, and sharing her recipes with friends and family. Lorna cherished evenings after supper spent with a game of cards, board games, and building puzzles.

As an eager sports fan, she would often be found watching sports on tv, cheering on her children at their sporting events as they grew, and most recently enjoyed watching her grandchildren play in their sporting events and school concerts. She loved playing with her grand-pup (Bo).

Preceding Lorna in death are her parents, Raymond and Martha (Kelly) Koepp. She is survived by her husband, James, sister Penny (Gerald) Mork, children: June Brehmer of Milbank, SD., Lindsey (Michael) Bosch of Clara City, MN., and James (Jenna) Brehmer of Aubrey, TX., her grandchildren: Tanner & Peyton Myers, Ellie, Hailey, and Nolan Bosch, Lorna’s mother in law Dorothy Brehmer, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by her entire family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
