Pamela “Pam” Wojahn, age 74, of Big Stone City, SD, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Ortonville Area Health Services Hospital.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mundwiler Funeral Home Chapel in Milbank, SD. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Fr. Gary DeRouchey will officiate the service and inurnment will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in Milbank, SD.

Pamela Jean (Dornbusch) Wojahn was born on June 26, 1948, in Milbank, SD, to Robert George and Mazy Jean (Dahlgren) Dornbusch. She attended school in Milbank and graduated with and was voted Homecoming Queen for the Class of 1966.

Following high school, Pam worked at Bob’s Grocery for her father and later worked at Jim’s Fairway Foods for her brother. She later worked different jobs before gaining employment as the Office Manager at Gesswein Motors in Milbank and worked there until her retirement.

On January 5, 1996, Pam was united in marriage with Larry Wojahn in Clear Lake, SD. Along with her two children: Jodi and Ryan, she gained five children with this union.

Pam was a magnificent cook and baker. She baked a favorite something for the birthdays of every special person in her life. Pam also had all of her children and grandchildren in the kitchen baking goodies of all kinds during the Christmas season. She enjoyed birdwatching and doing embroidery. Pam loved to go to the thrift stores and rummage sales where she would find a sorts of treasures.

Left to cherish Pam’s memory are her husband, Larry Wojahn of Big Stone City, SD; children: Jodi (Scott) Arndt of Donnelly, MN; Ryan (Patrese) Waterfall of Milbank, SD; Eric (Carol) Wojahn Murrieta, CA; Corey (Melissa) Wojahn of Woodland, WA; Jeremy (Erin) Wojahn of Sioux Falls, SD; Brad (Becca) Wojahn of Rapid City, SD; and Josh (Sammy) Wojahn; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers: Gerry (Linda) Dornbusch of Milbank, SD; and Jim (Anita) Dornbusch of Pierre, SD; along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Bob and Mazy Dornbusch; and brothers: Steve Dornbusch; and Joe Dornbusch.
