Tennis Team Takes on Tough Competition

Milbank traveled to Watertown on April 11 to face Sioux Falls Jefferson and Watertown. The Bulldogs suffered an 8-1 loss to Jefferson and a 9-0 loss to the Arrows.

Tanner Hallquist, playing at No. 5 against Sioux Falls Jefferson, got the only win for Milbank. He took down Khang Vuong 10-4.  

Also for the Bulldogs, Joe Schulte was defeated 10-4. Greg Grabow lost 10-6. Will Snaza went down 10-0. Charles Whitesitt and Dan Shelstad were each defeated 10-1. 

In doubles play, Schuelte and Snaza were defeated 10-7. Grabow and Whitesitt were defeated 10-1. Hallquist and will Muellenbach went down 10-8.

In singles action against a tough Watertown team, Schulte went down 10-1. Grabow and Snaza were each defeated 10-0. Whitesitt lost 10-2. Hallquist was defeated 10-2. Shelstad lost 10-3.

In the doubles round, Schulte and Snaza were defeated 10-1. Grabow and Whitesitt were defeated 10-0. Hallquist and Will Muellenbach were defeated 10-2.
