Get your kids registered for the free Summer Reading program at the Big Stone City Branch Library! Registration is open from May 17-31. The Summer Reading program will be held each Wednesday from 1:30-2:45 p.m. starting June 7 and continuing through July 19. Events are designed for kids entering kindergarten through fifth grade.

ALL TOGETHER NOW! is the theme of this year’s six-week program. Kids will explore origami, dot art, gardening, fossils, telescopes, and play Bingo. On the last day, the celebration includes root beer floats courtesy of the BSC Horizon Committee. Reading awards and prizes will also be given away.
Each child who signs up will receive treats and a treasure box toy at registration. Summer Reading program bags and library program folders will also be given to the parents. Everything is free!

To register your child, stop by the Big Stone City Branch Library during regular library hours: Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
