Tyler James Koepke, age 30, of Milbank passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2023.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.

Casket bearers will be: Dave Spors, Matt Trevett, Ben Lewno, Bob Stone, Nick Stuart, and Chad Tillman. Honorary bearers will be Twin Valley Tire Employees.

Tyler James Koepke was born on December 10, 1992, in Milbank, SD. He was the son of Geriann Mostaff and Garold Lars Koepke. Tyler grew up in Milbank and attended Milbank schools. He graduated from Milbank High School with the Class of 2011.

Tyler worked a variety of jobs in the Milbank area, including a ranch hand, United Hardware, and most recently, Twin Valley Tire. He was united in marriage with Miranda Lynn Lewno on September 28, 2016, in Milbank.

Tyler was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed working outdoors and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He kept himself on the go and was always working on a project. He loved his family! He was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed taking family walks and, in the winter, looking at the Christmas lights.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Miranda of Milbank, SD; three daughters: Sophie, Scarlett, and Summer; his father, Garold Lars Koepke of Stockholm, SD; grandmother, Wanda Koepke of Milbank, SD; brothers: William Koepke of Stockholm, SD; and Austin (Brittney) Koepke of Brookings, SD; mother-in-law, Lynn Berthiaume of Anoka, MN; father-in-law, Michael Lewno of Milbank, SD; uncles: Gerald Koepke of Stockholm, SD; Greg Koepke of Brookings, SD; Dylan Koepke of Highmore, SD; and Jim Koepke of Milbank, SD; niece, Bailey Koepke of Milbank, SD; and cousins: Kendra Koepke of Stockholm, SD; and Dustin Koepke of Milbank, SD. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Darlowe Koepke; his uncle, Wayne Koepke; and his aunt, Karen Koepke.
