Dennis Kipp

Dennis Kipp, age 60, of Graceville, MN, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday. Fr. Brian Oestreich will celebrate the Mass and inurnment will be at Graceville Consolidated Cemetery.

Dennis Eugene Kipp was born on July 30, 1962 in Graceville MN to Roger and Josephine (Ritter) Kipp. He graduated from Graceville High School in 1980.

Dennis served 17 years in the National Guards/Army Reserves earning his Marksman and Sharpshooter awards. He was honorably discharged in the 1990’s.

Always a hard worker, Dennis started out working with his dad helping him with the many jobs Roger did around town. He then started a painting business with his brother, worked construction and worked doing custom combining in his most recent years. Dennis was always helpful and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

Dennis was known for his outspoken personality and his great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. He loved making kids laugh and enjoyed time spent with his nieces and nephews.  Dennis also played Santa Claus in the Graceville area for many years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville and would sit in the back enjoying his cup of coffee while listening to the day’s message.

Surviving Dennis are his four brothers: Dean Kipp of Graceville, MN; Douglas Kipp of Moorhead, MN; Dominic (Kristi) Kipp of Fargo, ND; and Daryl (Sara) Kipp of Fergus Falls, MN; many nieces and nephews and his sidekick Buckshot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Josephine; sister, Deborah Jean Kipp; grandparents; along with numerous aunts and uncles.
