Milbank July 4th Festivities Postponed

The fourth of July will not go off with a bang for residents of Milbank.

Due to impending inclement weather, the Milbank Chamber has postponed all activities scheduled for this day.

“After a lot of consideration for all parties involved, we have made the difficult decision,” said Jamie Henderson, Director of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce.

Fireworks are rescheduled for July 28. The raffle drawing will occur on Facebook Live following Farley Fest on July 31.

The Fishing Derby, hosted by Rick and Wendy Hentjes and the Sons of the American Legion, will occur rain or shine.
