

Farley Fest 2023 starts off with a bang this Friday night, July 28, at Lake Farley Park in Milbank. Fireworks go off at dusk or about 9:30 p.m. But there’s a ton of things to do before that!

Vendors, food trucks, and the beer garden will be set up by 4 p.m. Grab a cold one and start your weekend with some music. Eclipse starts playing at 5:30 p.m., and My Monday Regret takes over the stage for another free concert at 9 p.m.. Kids can jump on the inflatables from 4-10 p.m. The balloon artist is on tap from 5-7 p.m. or challenge yourself with axe throwing from 5-10 p.m.
The 35th Annual Car Show gears up when registration opens at 5 p.m. Check out the cars on display from 6-9 p.m. Don’t leave without seeing “Short Fuze” the 1948 Fiat Topolino owned by Ernie and Gwen Lipinski.
Own a vintage beauty? All cars are invited. Enter her in the show for a $10 registration fee with $5 going to It Only Takes a Spark. Registration runs from 5-7 p.m. Judging starts at 7 p.m. Trophies and cash will be awarded for the People’s Choice, Best Car, Best Truck, Best Race Vehicle, and Chief of Police. The first 50 cars to register receive a dash plaque and a swag bag.
Get your team together for the double-elimination Cornhole Tournament. The tourney starts at 6 p.m. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Entry fee is just $30 per team. Top three teams take home money at a 75 percent payout rate.
Don’t forget to stick around for the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Food and vendors stay open until 10 p.m. Beer garden is open till 11. So, get a snack and sit back and enjoy the show!
