The Grant County Christian Service Council is sponsoring their annual back-to-school supplies giveaway on August 2. The deadline to complete an application for the giveaway is Friday, July 28. To qualify you must be a resident of Grant County, and you must be currently receiving assistance from at least THREE of the following programs: Food Stamps, TANF, Medicaid, WIC, Fuel Assistance, or Subsidized Housing.
The drive-thru event will be held at the east end of the Grant County 4-H building on Wednesday, August 2, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Students will receive a free school bag, school supplies, clothing vouchers, and personal hygiene products.
Need an application form? Stop at the ICAP office in the Grant County Courthouse or contact Jeanne Zeigler at 605.432.6571. In order to receive back-to-school supplies, your application must be filled out and returned to the ICAP offices no later than Friday, July 28.
