Meat Militia proved they could take the heat at Q-Fest 2023, sponsored by Dakota Storage Buildings. Meat Militia, made up of Lee Tol and Chris Fischer, won the Grand Champion award and the $1100 prize that went with it.
The contest featured a public tasting on Saturday to showcase the talents of local barbecue aficionados and give fans the opportunity to “pig out” in the park.
