Anne Marie Schulte was born on Christmas Day in 1962, to Larry Schulte and Janet (Reiners) Loeschke in Milbank, SD. She rode into the Gates of Heaven on September 9, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was baptized and confirmed at Central United Methodist Church in Milbank. She was an active member of the church, serving on the Fellowship and Service committee.  She displayed a strong faith and took many people under her wings.

Anne grew up in Fairmont, MN, and Milbank, SD, and later graduated from Wilmot High School in 1981. Anne continued her education to become a cosmetologist in Aberdeen, SD. She then moved to Rapid City for a good share of her adult life where she found her love for motorcycles. She obtained an associate degree in business while living in Rapid City. In 2008, she moved back to Milbank. She worked at Saputo for a few years, but cosmetology was her passion. She returned to cosmetology; making her clients feel special meant a lot to her, and she enjoyed all of the conversations. She will be missed by her co-workers and clients at Jay Elle’s Salon, Wilmot Care Center, and Avantara in Milbank. She enjoyed serving customers as a waitress at Shady Beach for many years.

Mama Anne was VERY PROUD of her beautiful daughter, Danica, and adored her grand-puppies, Benny and Harlow. She was excited when Danica’s fiancé, Tucker Berens, asked her to be his wife and looked forward to their wedding day.  She embraced Danica’s friends, and they all looked up to her as “Mama Anne”.

Anyone who met Anne was not a stranger long. She made friends instantly and cared deeply for them all. She had a heart of gold and loved helping anyone she could. Her bright smile and contagious laugh will always be remembered. Anne loved riding her motorcycle on poker rides. She was the life of the party, loved music, attending concerts, dancing, and spending time with the Pump 2.0 crew in Milbank. She enjoyed spending time with special friends: Roger Norton, Betsy Garcia, and Phil Blake.

Anne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law-to-be: Danica (Tucker Berens) Schulte of Canistota, SD; mother, Janet Loeschke of Milbank, SD; sisters: Rhonda (Scott) Stevens of Ankeny, IA; and Bobbie Schulte of Watertown, SD; brothers: Calvin (Jena) Schulte of Milbank, SD; and Josh Schulte of Watertown, SD; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Schulte; brothers: Eric Schulte, Robert Loeschke, Douglas Loeschke, and Bradley Loeschke; and her grandparents.
