The Milbank Area Retired Teachers-Personnel Association (MARTA) will hold their monthly meeting at Abbey of the Hills at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 21. A tour of the facility will be offered and lunch will follow. The gift shop will be open for browsing or purchasing items after lunch. The cost is $11 per person. To prepare, the Abbey needs the total number of lunches requested. Please email Rhonda Preller at rrprel@aol.com or text or call 956.873.1375. All local retired teachers or school personnel are invited to attend MARTA. Newly-retired individuals qualify for a free meal and state membership.
