Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Team Beats Britton-Hecla

The Lady Bulldogs volleyball team defeated Britton-Hecla in three straight sets on the road on September 28. Milbank seized the victory with scores of 25-18. 25-16, and 25-10. The win put Milbank’s record at 5-1 in the conference and 12-7 overall.

The Lady Bulldogs were outstanding from the service line. They averaged  98 percent to surpass even their typical serving rate. Ella Sandvig led the way at 18 of 18 with one ace. Skyler Skoog went 13 of 13. Shaylee Schuchard hit 15 of 16. She had one ace. Siera Wenzl was 11 of 11. 

On the attack, Rachel Schulte was 40 of 45 setting. She accrued 14 kills. Skoog was 25 of 27 with seven kills. Schuchard 15 of 15 with eight kills. Claire Snaza nine of nine with three kills. Addisyn Krause earned 21 assists and Schulte had 11. 

Schulte also counted 11 digs for the defense. Skoog made 13, Sandvig had 12, and Wenzl added 11. Snaza and Schulte made three block assists apiece.
