Milbank Takes Sixth at Winter Wonderland Gymnastics Invite

The Milbank Area Gymnastics team competed in the Upward Winter Wonderland Invitational in Vermillion on December 2. Milbank started the tournament on Bars. Macyn Dunnihoo – returning from an injury and competing for the first time this year – scored 7.2 to place 10th. Madilyn Sletten posted 5.95, Raina Untalan 5.8, Aria Prasnicki 5.65, and Jada Leigh Wellnitz 5.45. For Aria and Jada Leigh, their scores were personal bests

On Beam, Raina earned 7.2; Macyn, 7.0; Aria, 6.55; Jada Leigh, 6.25; and Madilyn, 6.2. Aria repeated her no-fall beam routine to put up a personal best score. On the Floor, Macyn hit 7.9, Raina, 6.9; Madilyn, 6.85; Aria, 6.05; and Jada Leigh, 5.4  On Vault, Macyn scored 7.95; Raina, 7.75; Aria, 7.4; Madilyn, 7.35, and Jada Leigh 7.0.  Adding up the All Around scores, Macyn hit 30.05; Raina, 27.65; Madilyn, 26.35, Aria, 25.65; and Jada Leigh, 24.
