Lady Bulldogs Crush Lady Braves 58-23

The Lady Bulldogs crushed the Lady Braves of Britton-Hecla 58-23  during their first game of 2024 on January 2. Isabella Anderson piled up 21 points and Claire Snaza drilled in 16 for Milbank. Anderson also led the Lady Dogs with four rebounds. Tyra Berry, Josie Riveland, and Rylee Scoular each scored five points. Averie Schuneman added four, and Ella Sandvig dropped in two. Milbank led 29 to 13 at the half and  kept the pressure on in the third quarter to lead 50 -19 heading into the final stretch.

Milbank hit 48 percent of their shots from the floor, including one of three from beyond the arc. They knocked down six of their 14 free throw attempts for 43 percent.

Britton-Hecla made just eight of 33 baskets, although they only attempted one from long range. The Lady Braves hit six of 14 from the charity stripe for 32 percent.

Tiyanna Schott was Britton-Hecla’s leading scorer. She put up seven points. Jayden Bender and  Addison Wade each made four. Heather Storbakken, Sterling Brassfield, and Daynika Zuelke claimed two apiece. RaeAnn Hagenson and Mallory Grupe each made a free throw.
