Linda was baptized at Albee Lutheran Church and was confirmed at American Lutheran Church in Milbank, S.D.

Linda attended Alban #4 Country School through eighth grade and graduated from Milbank High School in 1964. On March 25, 1967, Linda married Kenneth Zielike in Webster, S.D. They had two children: Sherri and Steven.

Many people around Big Stone benefited from Linda’s main hobby, which was baking, especially at Christmas time, and her grandchildren have many fond memories of learning to bake with her. Linda loved to can, read, do puzzles, and help her son with the lettering on his derby cars. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
