Milbank Wins Battle of the Bulldogs

The Milbank Lady Bulldogs went on the road to face Madison at the annual girls basketball Battle of the Bulldogs on February 13. Milbank defeated Madison 50-39 and returned with the “W” and bragging rights. Isabella Anderson posted a double-double with 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and 10 rebounds. She also robbed Madison three times.

Anna Neugebauer and Averie Schuneman each scored six. Neugebauer also recorded six rebounds and Schuneman nabbed two. Tyra Berry scored five points and hauled down six rebounds. She added an assist and a steal. Claire Snaza and Belle Pauli scored four points apiece. Pauli claimed four rebounds; Snaza snared two. Siera Wenzl hit a 3-pointer. Ryleee Scoular and Ella Sandvig each got a rebound.

Madison’s Audrey Nelson put up a game-high 23 points. Karley Lurz made nine. Lurz led her team in rebounding with seven.
