Olivia Wendland, a senior at Milbank High School, was chosen as the January Student of the Month. Olivia participates in student council, HOSA, National Honor Society, band, choir, color guard, and football cheer. Outside of school, Olivia participates in dance. She was chosen as Miss Milbank for 2024 at the 2023 Snow Queen Festival in November. Olivia works as a photography assistant at Capture the Moment Photography and also as an assistant dance teacher at Pivotal Joy Dance Studio.
Her favorite class is math. Her long term career goals include completing a business and economics degree, earning an MBA, and becoming a healthcare administrator. Olivia is the daughter of Josh and Susie Wendland.
