The Lady Bulldogs basketball teams celebrated the 2023-2024 season with their annual postseason awards event hosted by head coach Brian Pauli. The varsity girls earned a winning record at 12-10. The JV squad notched a nearly perfect 17-1 season, and the C team finished to the good at  8-6.

Senior Isabella Anderson was named the Most Valuable Player. Anderson also was lauded for reaching the milestone of 1,000 career points and for being selected for the  NEC All-Conference second team. Junior Tyra Berry and Junior Claire Snaza shared the Most Improved varsity player awards. Berry was also named to the NEC All-Conference third team. Avery Schuneman, an eighth grader, was named Most Improved junior varsity player. Junior Ella Sandvig received the Spirit of the Bulldog award. Sophomore Anna Neugebauer earned the Excellent Leadership award. 

Major M award winners: Sandvig, Siera Wenzl, Anderson, Berry, Schuneman, Rylee Scoular, Snaza, Belle Pauli, Josie Riveland, Neugebauer, and student managers Jocy Kettwig and Jaclyn Wiik.

Minor M award winners: Lydia Gall, Bree Townsend, Adison Pauli, Zayda Townsend, Brooke Hendricks, Macy Mueller, Jazmynne Ronke, Charlotte Swanson, Ella Koplin, Sophia Schuchard, Violet Johnson, Paisley Ericsson, Kylynn Schwandt, Bailee Hendricks, Lauren Lester and Avigail Howard. 

Pauli thanked his assistant coaches Tony Howard and Eric Townsend. He also recognized the team’s statisticians, Kettwig and Wiik; and its bookkeeper, Christine Townsend. Lastly, he thanked all the parents for their contributions and support this season. Pauli noted the team plans to spend the summer focusing on workouts, strength training, and team camps.
