James D. DeJong passed away on March 30, 2024, at Milbank Area Hospital – Avera Health. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank, SD. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Pastor Chris Davis will officiate. Military interment will be at Milbank City Cemetery in Milbank.
